One of my favorite drivers! His book was excellent about overcoming his Leg injuries and wanting to stand again to carry his son on his shoulders. Truly inspirational,

Guy just keeps on going and going and doesn't stop.

His handicap does not slow him down.

Unfortunately, seems like the last truck accident has put him in a Schumacher type of state.

Was noticeably faster in Cart at MO when I first saw him. Always over the top upbeat. He then went on to win the 2 championships mentioned. Then his dismal few years in F1. He then returned to Cart with a lesser team. Heading from the paddock to pit lane for qualifying just grinning and whistling. Still upbeat positive. Then later that year he lost his legs in that crash in Germany. Still upbeat and went on to race sports cars and wheelchairs. He was training for a wheelchair event when he went left of center and hit the truck head on.
