    Why do they move the oil sensor next to the chassis number.. This seems to be a common theme on 288’s

    Some idiot has been putting it out there they can spring a leak, spray on the turbocharger and catch fire. Complete ********.
    The replacement senders do not just screw into the old base. Instead of using an adaptor or rethreading the base they are modifying a very special car.

    additional to this:

    there were some cars heavily demaged by fire and Ferrari put together a kit to address this. It relocated the Oil Pressure Sensor to this location and replaced a whole bunch of pipes and hoses also.

    And I do remember that it was one of the first things the classiche department at the factory checked on my car when it was delivered to them.
