I have a 2019 Portofino with about 19K miles and recently the AC was starting to become weak (i.e. not being able to cool the car on a hot day). My annual service is due so I mentioned this to the service representative at my dealership when dropped I off my car and they found a leaking hose coupling at the connection to the condenser. A picture was sent to me showing the leak where you could see compressor oil collecting and signs of dripping where the hose connects to the condenser. Didn't seem like a big deal until the quote to repair came in at $5800 USD. The quote indicated that they would replace the condenser, the high/low pressure hoses and recharge the system. The compressor and other parts of the AC system where OK. I have the Power 15 warranty but was told this is not covered. I've owned other exotic cars but this quote seemed high even for Ferrari. I'll be talking to the service advisor before the work begins to make sure I'm not missing something that is driving the high repair cost. But in the meantime has a anyone else experianced this issue, and if so what was the cost to repair? Appreciate any feedback.

I also had an AC problem with my 2019 Porto a few years ago and It sounds like almost the same problem. Mine was fixed under the extended bumper to bumper warranty I purchased though. I think it was around 4k as well.
The only other issue I had with that Porto in 3.5 years was the passenger display screen crapped out. Also fixed under warranty and was about 5k.

Make sure they replace the AC Dryer as well.

Cynic be me but is the condenser definitely bad? They ought to be able to tell you if the union is cracked or if its OK.

If its OK then why is it being replaced?

Its just too easy to replace the parts on both sides of the leak when it may be only one of them that's bad.

In the uk the weather is so bad we don’t need air con and at that price I wouldn’t bother getting it fixed .
Seriously get your car serviced at the dealer but any other work seek out an independent should come in less than half that quote
