I like the way everyone is writing off Norris at the start! Love you guys!

 

All Lando all the time. Not sensing a Max title improvement in this one. We shall see later. Oscar is still struggling and needs to close up during this race. Not sure he will get past the Ferrari's.

Oscar struggles in low grip circuits this being the least grippy of the season so far. Was a fun qualy overall!

 

Unless Norris does something stupid, like trying to win the race in the first corner, he has this in the bag. The question is how many points Verstappen and Piastri will loose.

It seems Piastri is loosing momentum. I´m not surprised, he usually had one bad race for each two good ones. Probably the lack of support from the team is not helping his confidence either.

 

Norris appears childish. He is also mollycoddled inside McLaren. That doesn't attract empathy.

He was not providing the results. A pretty easy position to take overall.

 

The man has lost positions on the start in (I believe) every race this season. Why would one expect anything different this time?

 

In addition to this, Norris runs his mouth far too often with statements that he just fails to back up time and time again. Yes an almighty lap in quali yesterday and he might talk tough but everyone sees straight through the persona he tries to put up. He's also very clumsy in the car (see Canada and Singapore), his overtaking is downright bizarre...he just tries to do the same thing over and over again until it sticks (or doesn't). I was speaking with a friend yesterday who is a huge Norris fan since he came to F1 and even he says the same things, he still supports him of course but he very much is frustrated with his driving.

For lack of better word, Norris is not a ''hero character''. Too effeminate and childish, whiny and fires of tough statements he can't back up. Posing in Vogue magazine the other day he even claimed winning the title isn't his ambition...I'm sorry, WHAT?

 

Charles has really been driving VERY well. It seems to me he's starting to race with his mind more than emotions now. I'm not sure he can pull it off today, but IF the car stays together think he has as good a chance as they have had all year.

 

he will be up in the front, but is the car robust enough for the stress this race supplies?

 

I'm thinking no unfortunately.
