Cool to see there's another 308 out there with high miles—even more than my friend's car, which is a 1984 model with a bit over 240,000 miles (which is likely the one they reference towards the end of the video).

The grilles in the air intakes denotes the car as being a German market car originally, which may well explain the lack of early history.

The rear lights are the wrong way around, with the tail lights/brake lights on the outside, and the rear indicators/revering lights on the inside - That could be from when the car was federalised for use in America, due to a mistaken belief that the rear lights/brake lights had to go on the outside(even though US market cars were supplied from the factory with the rear indicators/reversing lights on the outside)

What is it about the intake grilles that indicates they are German market?
