I'm looking for experience and opinions on carbon fiber engine panels for the F430. So for those of you who have the carbon fiber engine panels, can you please share your thoughts on quality and fitment Thanks

Following. I have my sites on the exotic car gear ones for black Friday. Curious if this thread can change my mind.

I’m curious too. I bought the Exotic Car Gear diffuser and am happy with it.

I’ve heard the engine panels turn yellow from the heat.

I recently installed RTuned engine bay panels. Fitment is good, look is good, I think they're a bit thin, but overall happy with them for the price, they generally cost less than the competition.

I didn't like OEM screws and washers, so did something different.

    The air covers are Kline.

Best of luck however you go.

So i've done a little checking. i was considering SForza because they are made in europe. Actually I think in italy. their prices are $2280 plus 450 to ship. And that doesn't include tariffs.

I forgot if you have a coupe or a spider. For the coupe, just be aware that you may need to trim the water drain pipes. Even the factory carbon ones look "custom" cut to the car. I measured using a stick the depth/length of my original panels and then cut the new ones with a Dremel so they matched perfectly and drained water correctly.

Here is a picture of the Exotic Car Gear panels on the side and front of my coupe. This is an older picture, before I switched my Kline to Inconel. I really need to take some new pics of the engine compartment.

Hey Corey, I remember when you installed those. It’s been about a year ago, correct? Any yellowing? When you park the car, do you lift the engine lid to cool it off?

No yellowing. I only park the car and lift the engine lid if I need to touch something on the inside of the engine compartment. Usually I just pull into my garage and because of my 4 post lift there isn’t enough clearance to open the rear lid when the car is on the top with a car underneath or it’s the car underneath.

Okay, thanks. Do you still have the file for the emissions stickers?

I looked into this at one point, and it looks like they only did the metal.grids in 05-06 models

I only have the 2009 Coupe file made from my original decal. I know some people here modified it with a little Photoshop to make earlier models.

I zipped the file because Ferrarichat modifies images if they are uploaded as images

It will happen eventually due to the heat, not really a good place to put them but I love CF parts

You’ll be happy. I have their front splitter, rear diffuser and the engine bay louvers. All have been great. Have their carbon rear engine bay cover for under the window coming in as well. Already had a set of factory scud carbon panels I had to refinish that will be going on soon. ECG does a good job with their stuff.

If you mean on the picture, I can change the year and the build number; it is not just the year, but your build number is unique on bottom right. Ping me offline if you want to do that.
