    Hello Fchat!

For sale is an OEM turret acquired from an authorized Ferrari dealer several years back.

    $10,200 OBO.

For those who know: these are rare as hens teeth and one of the two most essential conversion components (the other being the gearbox actuator).

Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions.

    Cheers,
    Joe

Sure is - only Ferrari would develop something like that! Made their gated shifters pretty iconic, so I blindly trust the unique casting. :)

Lovely piece, but a far cry from the Daytona, Dino et al, beautiful castings.
This one looks as it was cast at the beach.

Certainly an important and essential conversion part.

Whatever the reason... these turrets sure do work well, though!

Hmmm….for what it’s worth, the surface texture is not the actual casting; it is a secondary finish Ferrari applied to the actual cast piece underneath. There are photos of the actual original cast piece floating around. Some people have gone to the trouble of stripping off the surface finish as it can crack away/off with time/vibrations/heat cycles. I am not a material engineer, so I am not gonna pretend to know the motivation behind adding that pebble finish (I suspect it’s heat management, not sound dampening as occasionally proposed). But that said, it’s presence/application is the major differentiating factor between original versus most aftermarket turrets (aka cast vs milled/cnc’ed should have no bearing on performance or use application in this case)

I always thought that surface texture may have been insulation of some sort related to heat and/or limited vibration... but what do I know!
