It's interesting that for all the talk about production numbers affecting value, the highest value/Speciale has the highest production.... it's not clear that the Scud's production numbers will hold back value much going forward...

Genuinely think it’s really just a matter of time on the scud and CS and I don’t think it’ll be a long time. Speciale popped right after that RM Sothebys auction last year. I know because I was in the middle of a PPI on one and the next day the owner jacked the price $150k. Same will happen here for sure. Both the scud and CS and seriously undervalued by comparison.

Totally concur. I'm sure I'm biased on my response, but my god the SCUD is not to be replicated. It's that perfect balance between go cart (CS), minus the "luxury and smoothness" of the 458S. CS is the Reacher, 458S is James Bond, and the SCUD is Reacher in a James Bond suit.

Was the car out of Newport Beach? If so, I think I heard about this from the PPI shop when I was in for an inspection last week.

Same boat here, hope to have one eventually! I also second that a Scud seems low in price compared to the CS and Speciale prices...

Of the 499 manufactured only 602 remain .

    I say, I say it’s a joke son !

I should have bought plasticques (sp) white 16M but was 20 grand away .
At the time I KNEW they would collectible .
    Doh !

PS the very last of the special cars that are manually convertible .
That’s going to be a big deal in the future .
Even 430s are going to make a bump .

I’m actually the owner of that white 16M now and was looking at this thread to see what the value might be. Been kicking around selling it and getting back into an air cooled Porsche. This thread is making me think I should prolly just keep it.

I'd keep it. I love air cool Porsches myself and have been on the sidelines to pick one up. But not at the expense of having to lose a Scud or 16M.

Curious what you guys think a 22k miles white 16m is worth. Lot of comps with sub 10k miles.

What’s the spec? I think that’s worth including in order to get a more accurate estimate

What is a 3K mi Scud worth, Rosso Corsa, 09, no paint work, in today's market? Minimal service records available.

Not sure what the transacted price would eventually be, but as far as listing goes...the cheapest "clean no story Scud" is listed at BHills @ $315K but has miles. With it being 3K miles I'd guess somewhere close to $400K ask? Then you have Carrio being out there with $500K+ asking.

This was prescient - asking price on <10kmi Scuds is in the $550-600k range now based on the handful currently listed, none of which has a particularly special or interesting spec.

Yep. Glad I sold mine about a month too soon like a dumb ass. But swapped for a Pista at 515 so a win nonetheless. Scud was so so under valued by comparison.
