    I knocked the rearview mirror with head when I was reaching for something and the mirror itself fell off the base. I'm hoping it slips back on the base, but I don't know how to do it. Can anybody help, please?

    You just pop it back on, very easy and I do it all the time

    Many thanks and looking at it more closely this morning, I could see that it looked liked it might snap back in place, but I'm dumb, weak or both because I couldn't get it to pop in. Any tips, please?

    Pop it on at an angle, wiggle it on with constant pressure
