Wheel spacers

I would like to install wheel spacers on my 512M for aesthetic reasons only. Could you please advise what size you recommend for the front and rear?

Specifically, would 15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear cause any issues such as fender interference?

Yes. That’s too high.

I recommend to start by getting a 15 mm spacer and seeing how it works for you in the rear. Please realize that 15mm is essentially the upper limit of what is safe/feasible fit in the rear without potential fender rubbing (depending on the overall condition of your suspension and your alignment).

You can run 15mm in the front without issue. Personally I think the optimal set up would be 15mm in the front and 10 vs 11mm in the rear, but I really really don’t like when wheels stick out “hot wheels” style beyond the fender.

Thank you for your response. I had ordered 13mm and 22mm Hill Engineering spacers. They might be too big from what I gather.

 

22mm is the same as 10.5in ET60 rear wheels. it would look something like this with a little bit more ballooning of the tire, depending on the manufacture. That amount may be OK for you, but it was not for me. It would be close, but you can probably get away with it if you’re suspension and rear alignment/camper is on point.
