Was having a few issues with the 599 gearbox. Had it stripped and found this, LSD is damaged. Pointing to the part in parts diagram. Looking to get it rebuilt. Don't want to buy the whole part from Ferrari. If I can't get it rebuilt are there alternatives? I have contacted ZF and these guys in aus https://www.modenaengineering.com.au/ but so far no reply. If it is the same LSD as prior cars go to Porsche. T Rutlands did or does stock parts. Modena Engineering is a totally different design and probably no interchangeability.
Did you check to see if Eurospares has the part in stock? If they don't then it will be the same as going to Ferrari.
