Darioush, probably my favorite Napa vineyard to visit and one of the most beautiful tasting rooms. All of the stone was imported from Iran, the founder's home country. Their limited series cabernets are excellent. Well worth a visit...

I may be wrong, but I can not remember drinking ANY 1958 vintage Bdx. I've had just about every vintage since 1959 ( not all first growths of course). And I've been lucky enough to have some old soldiers as well (1949 is my birth year). @SireBruno can you post tasting notes please? Also provenance of the bottle and its condition if you can. Re-corked? Thank You

The last old bottle I tasted was the 1975 Haut -Brion that a dear friend generously shared. He had it since he purchased around 1980 From Weaver's in Maryland. It was sensational.

Sorry, Keith, I found this label in an old attic of a house being demolished. I added "drink responsibly" underneath because here in France, it says so on all bottles of alcohol, but not on wine. Amazing, isn't it!

I thought the "A consommer avec moderation" was added as a joke at some point. Too bad the bottle was not attached to the label! Sante, Keith
