Why do they move the oil sensor next to the chassis number.. This seems to be a common theme on 288’s
Some idiot has been putting it out there they can spring a leak, spray on the turbocharger and catch fire. Complete ********. The replacement senders do not just screw into the old base. Instead of using an adaptor or rethreading the base they are modifying a very special car.

additional to this: there were some cars heavily demaged by fire and Ferrari put together a kit to address this. It relocated the Oil Pressure Sensor to this location and replaced a whole bunch of pipes and hoses also.
And I do remember that it was one of the first things the classiche department at the factory checked on my car when it was delivered to them.
Hi Does anyone have any pictures of a 288GTO fitted with the 265/50R15 Cinturato P7? either the new production ones, or a period picture with them back in the 980s would be even cooler. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
