Monaco is not going anywhere. as a sunny place for shady people, there is too much money there for F1 to abandon it. Yes, the racing is not great, but the behind the scenes business is what Monaco is about. Where else can you mix with shady illegal oligarchs, and dictators money and their puppets with highly legit western companies in plain sight and no questions? To think that Monaco is about racing is highly naive.

Monaco is actually pretty efficient on the set up. The SBM ( Society des Bains de Mer) who run the casino and is the Prince's business arm... have that down to a science. While its months to set up, only weeks to dismantle. The business generated to just set up for the race is its own industry. We have a cousin who lives in Monaco - Fontvielle - and most of the residents in his building have some form of business attachment to the race.... its a huge money generator for Monegasques.

It takes about 2 weeks to dismantle Las Vegas. A good three months to set up. Maybe a bit more. But they start in areas that aren’t traffic related like the Stadium. It starts to affect the Strip 6 weeks in advance or so.

Reports more than 1 or 2 years on now is business is being done in Singapore and others more so than Monaco. It wasnt missed and it needs to be a charity event if anything at all. Its not naive to know about business, dirty or not being done and you dont need Monaco at all for that. Talk to FIFA and Zurich at the Bar au Lac etc. Try Dubai as well. Monaco is hardly the center of the universe in terms 'business' lol.
