Faster in a straight line doing a simple operation. Not totally impressive as a package.

There is a need for exterior sound for pedestrian and bike safety. The kind of sound might be regulated so as to be recognizable and not obnoxious. Again the regulators!

inside the cockpit here is where the options are. Silent Music or a combination of music with a background of the background Ferrari engine music. A virtual inner Ferrari experience.

We are in the early days of electric vehicles. Since battery tech is going to evolve this will have a good effect on electric. Lighter safer and faster charging. Maybe there won’t be a need for a dense charging station network —a potential improvement over petrol.

Since most EV makers locate the battery at the base of the chassis this gives a very low center of gravity . All the advanced tech to adjust the motion of each wheel independently will help to improve handling and of course the track performance.

Ferrari has a wonderful fan base and produces so few cars that it might be the most succcessful producer of luxury electric vehicles .

Just look at how their lack of F1 success in the last decade has had no negative effect on their business!

Yah, all 3 of them. There's no market for an all electric Ferrari unless you're talking an SUV. And I don't consider them anything more than fancy "people movers" for people who have too much much to spend impressing the neighbors than a BMW or Merc would do.

Tesla has nice brakes. They are improving the suspension package to deal with the performance

Not sure how the F all electric chassis is superior. Ferrari electronic control of stability and wheel
Slip should be more advanced than Tesla . Has Ferrari released some info or are they keeping all of this close to the chest?

Since the range of the new Tesla is over 300 miles that should cover a lap at the ring

Eventually All electric will be featured in racing.
    Hot swappable battery packs?

    Maybe teams will
Be allowed several packs for a season. Rather than an unlimited supply. Just like tire sets. And maybe lighter and heavier packs to cover the entire race distance. If the car is needing more energy and the distance is shorter then use a very lightweight pack. Remember the old splash and dash when re fueling

the regenerative braking will recover energy during a race

I recall following Formula E and the strategy was to swap out the entire car

Hot swap battery packs is theoretically possible during a race . They change tires.

As you can see here (https://zeperfs.com/en/duel7937-9231.htm) the already discontinued, six years oldm SF90 Stradale is a bit quicker than the Tesla you mentioned in a straight line and of course it is country miles ahead around a lap. So yes, facts are facts, even though you may not agree with the reality. :)

Just have to ask why. Formula E is stupid. The fan base certainly would favor going the other way of petrol engines with thrilling sounds. You are trying to do away with what is the core of racing and replace it with something you are contorting into usable while trying to convince the community that silent racing is what we want. The US has no intention of going electric as without crazy mandates the public wants sound with performance.
