In the wrong direction, Although the Vision may not have been practical, the new one is is not as pleasing to the eye.
Im really tired of that same front end design on so many cars from so many manufacturers from Toyota to McLaren to GM.
I agree. The reason earlier that I brought up the Xiaomi SU7 from China is they’re focusing on real production vehicles and not wasting valuable design resources on concepts. One of the reasons the traditional OEM’s are losing and closing their design studios. Design schools need to emphasize translating their creative ideas to real vehicles. One of the reasons I love classic European design where the designers were tasked with creating honest design renderings. I love working with Gravity Sketching in AR. You can work with the actual real package while designing the A-Surface and visa versa. Auto design has been taken over by pod people The biggest issue here, is that these are show cars and the final production will be so watered down that you wont even get the boldness displayed on these show cars.
