As a 296 owner, i would love that of course. BAT auctions results are very unpredictable. Yesterday , a Lusso with less options than clothes on a SI model on a beach went for 215K !!!

That was poorly bought imo. Esp given the options the aftermarket and the PTU history.

I'm not a fan of the lipstick livery... stripes work when they're subtle

    100%.
Said at the time, if lambo did this Ferrari owners would laugh. Yet here’s Ferrari being the new gold chain necklace leader.

That lipstick is definitely acquired taste. If I came home with that, I'm pretty sure my wife will make me return it...

Has anyone purchased a GTS from a Ferrari dealership recently? I am looking at 2 and not sure what a reasonable offer even is. 1 of them has been at the dealer for 6+ months.

I used to hate it. Now I like it and bought one with it. An acquired taste and much better in person- IMO.

There are too many variables. What model year, what was original MSRP, how many miles, etc. some dealers have GTS at MSRP and others have some well optioned ones below MSRP.

Are these variables meaningfully impacting what these are trading at? Seems like 15-20% off is becoming the standard.

Only on the high spec GTBs. Why so negative? The 296 is incredible.

2023 with high sticker and low miles. I see listings at dealerships all over the place that seem to be independent of model year and MSRP, which is making it hard to get a sense for what a reasonable price actually is to transact at. Doesn’t seem like listing price is reasonable when some cars have been for sale for almost a year.

296 GTS’s are not routinely (the standard?) selling for 15- 20% off MSRP. Why the FUD?

Picked mine up CPO about 3 weeks ago. 7000 miles, great spec. I threw out an offer that was for sure going to be shot down a swing for the fences kind of offer. They took it. $122,000 off MSRP. Plus free enclosed shipping. I love the car. Possibly one day when the general public realizes the impact these cars bring the market will rebound but for now incredible opportunities are out there.

Congrats! How much under MSRP were they asking and do you know if it was a consigned car? If I offer, my plan is to do the same. I’m in no rush and the driving season is ending here anyway.

I guess you have a bespoke definition of FUD. I’m only sharing what I’ve empirically gathered from folks reporting transactions here, on the 296 forum on FB, on BaT, and talking to two dealers in my area. Don’t see how that’s FUD.

If you look at the last few GTS sales on BaT, you’ll see a range of 21-32% or so discount from MSRP. The irony is that folks were commenting that the black car that sold for a 21% discount was holding value nicely (or something to that effect).

My own SA said to expect 15% depreciation off the lot. Finally, most sales I’ve seen on this forum where someone actually shares purchase price seems to show a 20% discount, if not more.

I’m certainly no expert, but I would imagine that some of the cars with high stickers and tons of carbon, etc. are being discounted more than those with the more “standard” options like forged wheels, race seats, suspension lift, shields, etc.

Make sure you drive one. I do not know anyone that preferred the SF90s driving to the 296.
