    Something in me just stirred when i saw this yellow GTB, i just remembered seeing one when i was a child, must be why i'm repainting mine in that glorious color. Somebody once told me Yellow is the largest color, he was an artist and a bit of a joker but think about that for a moment.

    Nice, lovely car. I am repainting my 328 in Giallo Fly as although red is the perfect color for a ferrari it's not my perfect color. I have to decide if i want to color match the roof, which i kinda have made up my mind i will do but the roof spoiler does seem to get a little lost once the roof is painted, thats just my opinion since i like the black accents of the engine grill. I plan to paint the hood grill black like on the 512BB and also the silver grill in the bumper will be black ( also smoked tint on the foglight/indicator assembly's) so perhaps just now i have realized the roof spoiler will be black also.

    Here's your pic that i just made some lighting and color corrections to as well as pic i made yellow for envisioning my project.

    What is the red colour? It doesn't look like rosso corsa.

    @fastslow. If you deside to paint the roof in the cars color,mine is original like that. Be aware that the glossy colored roof is (much) more fragile when stored behind the seats

    @ ragtop1 I just decreased the highlights increased shadows ad a slight increase in saturation as i wanted to see the detais of the car better. Mine actually looked more like the photoshopped version as i bought it on an overcast day, just depends on the lighting how bright or dark it looks.

    @ Zenobie Yes i had given that some thought, maybe i will create a soft fitted leather sleave foe it to slide into to avoid rubbing.

    @Dockboy OMG i love it! That color is beautifully captured especially in the last pic with you for contrast. Love the black grills behind the lights, i wish they kept them on the 328, it's all the rage to vent underarch lift these days and even though the position is not quite right it emulates that look. How on earth do you fit though, a giant among men and a toy among cars, computer says no.

    @FastandSlow

    Thanks! The front grills where originally body color (Giallo), but I painted them black when I did a repaint in the mid '80's. They are now powder coated. Some of the purist don't like it...but I do and it's my car!;)

    I'm 6'2" and 250 lbs.. once in the car, it's very comfortable, but I have to sit my butt in first then swing my legs in to get in. Getting out I roll to the left then put my knee on the sill.

    So many good shots here but this one does something for me, there's a timeless stillness and sense of perfection.

    Here's a shot of a rally 308, not mine but the same guys have supplied my wheels and built an amazing suspension system for my 328, very well developed.

    *Drool* Assume this is a MAT replica? Can't afford the real thing thing (and even a good replica if I'm being honest), but this right here is my idea of the ultimate 308. Any other info about it? Serial #?

    Afraid not, it's just an image from Alfa9 Supply's web site, gotta say the Martini livery looks ace on the 308. Bet she's a blast to throw around. Would love to take it down a rally stage.
