My F8 spider daily driver got a scheduled service.
New plugs (NGK iridium’s) and new coil packs (Eldor)
Changed the DCT fluid and gearbox oil. Changed power steering fluid. Engine oil.

Coolant- Learned that coolant health is a done with a test Never knew that.

car runs better! Close to 60K miles

The F 8 has had very little repair work. It’s been much better than my old 458.

I did decided to change engine oil every 5-6 K miles as a safety measure.

I did have some power steering fluid loss . I’m not sure about the cause. No visible leaks. Maybe due to the small volume capacity and perhaps the Penzoil formulation which might contain more volatiles.

Steering gets noisy when the fluid is low. No dash warning light.

I’ve always help on to my cars too long.

When should I trade her? 75,000?

Im on the list for the 849 Tr spider. The F8 has a much more usable Frunk.

    Only
The Pope knows when I might see my next Ferrari. The unknown waiting period for a new car, sitting in the dark, is getting old.

I'm like you....ordering a car and waiting for 2 years doesn't work for me. But then again my local Ferrari dealer would never offer me a new Ferrari anyways...LOL

my car had noisy steering on weekend. took cover of with 2 screws and NO fluid in reservior. car had service 2 weeks ago and part of service was checking all fluids...lol
took it in and they topped of the fluid and mechanic says not big reservoir and fluid evaporates as there are no leaks.
i think they are too lazy to take 2 screws out at service and this is never checked....check yours!

Wow dont you know that we are not supposed to drive these cars.

techs never have to worry about actually performing maintenance work based on mileage.

keep the mileage to between 2-5 miles per month
