Looks like the dealer is either in love with the car or using it to draw in traffic.

Not knowing how long ago the legitimate value of the car went under water (pun intended) and given the value history (Hagerty) of a #4 car, and the fact that the VIN and title will forever be flood tainted, it appears that no more than $50K should be offered given the risk involved which is not going to go away on its own (solely my opinion). Perhaps that is what the dealer paid? Are you willing to put 2X or 3X at risk?

There is an old saying that one makes their profit on the buy price side of a car transaction rather than waiting for the market to bail them out on the sell side of the transaction.

Thanks for the input. I sat in a 575 a couple months back and it was equally as undriveable as the 456 but figured some tweaks could make it work. Thats why a flood/beat up 550-456 would be the ticket for me. Mod without feeling bad.

The FF I drove a while back had plenty of space and the prices are somewhat in line with what a "project" 550 seems to go for... Might be just the ticket.

    Sorry to derail the thread
