I'd like to see a Singer or Gunther Works edition of a F355 or F360. Complete resto mod with some classic accents to adapt with modern technology. With a proper gated shifter, of course.

but the chances are really slim that it would ever happen but if it does happen (because like GMA's T.50, koenigsegg's cc850, singer(s), hell aston martin's valour, victor etc... all have manual and to keep themselves up market ferrari may do it) it would be way to expensive and way to rare what ferrari needs the most is a dino maybe a car with 296 like styling with N/A V6 having around 480 whp and a gated manual with engine in it's back and they should not bring back dino like they bought back testarossa whatsoever or "so-called F40 reincarnation" (I freaking hate that thing maybe because the owner the guy who commissioned it does not have taste and bembli is a imbecile for calling it a masterpiece)

Ferrari has seen that the sp3 did 20 million and 2nd hand are trading for 6.5-8.5 million.

They can develop a gear box or take one off the shelf. Don't forget those dual clutches costs alot of money too as does the tunning.

The biggest issue has been the regulatory issues with the gearboxes. That's the most expensive part/ and most prohibitive part. The regulations in some of the largest markets are being reduced.

Again the biggest bulk of my hypothesis is that Ferrari will need to move and adapt to stay at the front. They can not have sales get stagnet. They can not have cars sitting on showroom floors new and unsold. That will be a very very large hit to their brand.

They can afford to sell cars at a loss but they can not afford to not sell cars.

totally and completely agreed. and they may use an off the shelf box but it can always head in a great direction even if they opt to do such a thing, remember 458's gearbox

There is a guy that converted a 458 Speciale to a manual box and I saw a reviewer say it was cool but it felt weird with all the new tech. As if it didnt match with the car.

Speaking as one of the dinosaurs who ordered a manual 430 (and still have it) I think the odds are very, very low. Bear in mind that new and used buyers of Ferraris are very different breeds. The new buyer wants all the latest tech. By definition, used buyers are not getting the latest tech.

You see this in Porsches as well. New buyers go for autos even though manuals bring a premium in the used market.

If I were in charge at Ferrari, I would consider making a separate, manual only model with retro bodywork and a steep price. It would probably only last 2-3 years when the novelty wears off.

I have noticed that young people are becoming more interested in manuals. Perhaps they see others their age on social media bragging about being able to drive one. Even women seem interested. So there is hope.
