I know that most of you in this forum are Americans, but this is something, that is important for the whole automotive history. The old Bugatti factory in Campogalliano, Italy, where all the Bugattis EB110 have been made, has been invaded by thousands of people, that have destroyed and vandalized a lot of it only for several days. This factory has been preserved by a small Italian family for most than 30 years after it closed its doors and now it has been vandalized for such a short period of time, because at the moment it is totally abandoned. The family, that was preserving it for so many years is now trying to signal the Italian authorities, so they can finally move their a$$ and do something. They created a special petition for this, which can be found here:

    https://www.change.org/p/save-the-bugatti-blu-factory-campogalliano-stop-abandonment-stop-destruction?utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=mobileNativeShare&utm_campaign=share_petition&recruited_by_id=86920620-b70d-11f0-b035-2f051cbb2668

And what exactly is happening at the moment can be seen here....:

So sign the petition guys, it doesn't cost us anything and in the same time it can really help to move these junkies out before they destroy it completely.

But the building is empty for 30 years, thousands of clips from urban explorers and grafittisprayers from over the last 10-15 years. You can clearly see the building rotting away. If in 30 years no one sees it fit to turn that building into something else, something useful, than the owner if not preserving anything there.
I hope the ravers make sure it’s leve it behind clean and proper, so people like this won’t have a leg to stand on. Defending vacancy while their are so many people looking for homes or countries that are in dying need of cultural spaces.

The site is even documented to have fallen in disrepair for the last years! Due to vandalism but also because there is a big lack of security and the owners have left it neglected. Their are more at fault for neglecting their property after the closing in 1995. So before you sings that petition, or support the owners, make sure you know that right now those owners just wanna make sure they get money back from all those years of neglecting the property. Where an insurance company will not pay up if there is no proper security they will now after a rave. This is not for preservation of this site!!

Very interesting first posts for someone, that just registered here. ;)

The factory was preserved for 30 years by the Pavesi family and there was not a single graffiti or a broken window on it. Now these junkies, who are there illegally have destroyed so much just for a weekend, it's unbelievable.

Good thing is that the petition already has more than 2000 signs.
