Thanks. That was my next question. Does it match up to the factory tailpipes?

for price, if i could swap the awful stock tailpipes for those and keep the stock muffler I'd do that lol

If you dont want the OBX tailpipes only the muffler, I'll buy them from you

Yeah, but then it's open pipe all times... super noisy; I thought of that too. OEM pipes are ugly indeed. Only if they could make one with valves...

I have the OBX pipes in storage. They look way better than OEM, but loud. I put a vid on YouTube demonstrating the sound. Just search F430 obx…I don’t have the link handy.

Probably some drone? I don’t have the best hearing and my ears are sensitive from all these years as a musician, so I went back to oem pipes with valves. Pay the shipping and you can have my obx pipes. They’re still new and just sitting in storage

Interesting thread, i guess its difficult to ascertain what one considers loud/exciting but am suprised a bit by some comments. I have a complete stock setup w gen2 headers and my experience is that the car sounds like a race car and i drive only in sport. Cold starts have a certain level but as the car heats up it gets viscious. I find the pedal modulation has a big effect as well, the forcing of the flaps up gives lots of smiles. Also the more practice with downshifts under throttle will give amazingly loud snaps and loads of joy. I run with many cool exotic cars and get lots of questions and compliments on the setup as most assume its aftermarket. Ive honestly been talked of changing the exhast setup through my experience. My car is maintained annually by a factory trained master mechanic who has over 50years experience and now runs his own shop so the car is really dialed in.
The only change I would ever make is putting tubis on and with them the car sounds like a Scuderia, an acquaintenace has this setup and I was blown away, i honestly cant imagine needing anything else after experiencing that soundtrack. Enjoy!!!
