I wonder what the tickets cost to see your team lose the Series at home?

Ugh. When we couldn’t close it bottom of the 9th bases loaded, 1 out with at least one base hit, we had lost it.

Same with the NBA playoffs, same with the NHL playoffs, same with the Indy 500 and Daytona 500 - 'we' only watch the last 5, MAYBE 10 laps.

While there is plenty of blame to go around for the loss, a factor that was ignored was the 3rd base coach and his lack of coaching. When the bases were loaded, bottom of the 9th, he should have told IDK to take one extra lead-off step. He was out by inches at home plate, and that extra step would have been the difference.

In the end, the Blue Jays had several opportunities but did not capitalize. The Dodgers hung around, didn't make any mistakes, made two incredible plays, and stole game 6 and 7 right under the Jays' noses.

I think that's going to catch up to them and bite them, but it's going to take 4-5 years.

At some point, if the LEAGUES want more Viewers, they will have to have it on free TV.
    OTA, or streaming, but Free.

    And college is worse.
ESPN and ESPN2 is on one tier, but Fox Sports and ESPNU are on yet another tier.
Then you have some on Prime, and some on Paramount+, and who knows where the SEC
Network and the Big Ten Network is... but it's a mess, one I don't take part in.
    (I have Prime - that's it)
