Hi all, I’ve recently bought a ‘17 488 with Fl exhaust and I’ll be moving to CA in a couple months for work.

My question is will I have an issue passing emissions test?
    Thank you.

What is an F1 exhaust and does it still have catalysts?

The main questions I think you would need to answer are:

    1) Does it still have the OEM cats?
    2) Are all of the OBDII emisssions monitors set (in "ready state")? You can check this with a cheap OBDII scanner.
    3) Is the car a USA spec. car?

If the answer to all of these is yes, you should have a decent chance at passing, notwithstanding any California laws I am not aware of regarding bringing in cars from out of state/country...

There is a brand calmed Fi Exhausts :

Based on their description I would also be concerned about noise levels. In France they are checking for the owners that tweak the exhaust valves of their motorbike. As Camifornia is quite ahead in terms of controls, I would expect them to perform such test ?
