I was lucky enough to get a ride in one this weekend and I was flabbergasted at the sounds it was making, I don't think I've ever been in a car that made noise like that, it made my reveuelto feel like a normal car. I didn't know if it was true or not but the owner told me only 45 came to the US? Is that really the case and if so, would now be a good time to buy one? I see the only one for sale online is $1.3M but I cannot explain the sound and feel the car had. I would trade my revuelto in on one in a heartbeat. I was telling my wife I'm thinking of flying to see this blue one that is for sale at Marshall Goldman now just because I couldn't stop thinking about it after a ride at cars and coffee. Curious what everyone's take is on these because $1.3M is alot of money and I had never considered one of these but there are so many cars at that price point like the Carrera gt, Senna, etc aside from rarity what makes the SV $1.3M vs an lp640 that is 1/4 of the price? I've never had a murcielago I've had 3 different aventadors: 2015 roadster, 2017 S, and 2019 SVJ coupe and now my revuelto. All cool cars but none gave me the feeling of the SV with that noise. Just curious if you guys think $1.2-$1.3M is a big overpay.

Murciélago SV has been my dream car since 2010. For a long time, I kept a registry of them on VINWiki and had about 165 unique VINs, then Ed Bolian and John Temerian overtook me and got the data for every Murciélago worldwide, directly from the factory. Last I knew, there were only believed to be 180 - 190 worldwide, so 45 to the US wouldn't surprise me at all.

Incredible cars, and very high up on my "if I had infinite money" wishlist - probably #2 behind an Enzo.

The oddly specific number of 186 was taken as gospel for years. The real number is 308 and there are registries (one on Instagram) that have documented over 260 unique cars. 46 US spec is correct. Murcielagos will only appreciate, and the SV is the one to have...

260, wow. I haven't touched my Murciélago SV registry since probably 2018 - 2019. Surprised there are close to 350 in existence after all.
