The New England and Empire State Regions will host the Ferrari Club of America's 2026 Annual Meet in Monticello, New York, at the end of June. The Meet's Driver Development Track Event is scheduled over two days--30 June-1 July (Tu-W)--at Monticello Motor Club.

Instructor openings are currently available, and instructors run at no cost. At this writing, plans call for four run groups: Intermediate (White), Advanced (Blue), Very Advanced (Red), and Instructor. Exclusively for instructors, the Instructor run group is functionally a second Red run group. Instructors will not be allowed to drive in the Ferrari-only Intermediate, Blue, and Red run groups, and instructor registration allows individuals to participate at no cost only in the 2026 Meet's track component.

Following Ferrari Club of America regulations, instructors should have formal certification with accredited HPDE organizations (e.g., the ESR/FCA, the PCA, the BMW CCA, Trackmasters, the MSF, etc.). Years of track experience as a racer or track driver are not sufficient. Membership in the FCA is not required.

Any FerrariChat member who would like to make a provisional commitment to instruct at the track component of the Ferrari Club of America's 2026 Annual Meet will be asked to

    (i) provide verification of his or her formal instructor certification, and

(ii) have a brief recommendation submitted on his or her behalf by a chief instructor or by an instructor training program coordinator from an accredited HPDE organization.

Instructor resumes or requests for more information can be sent to [email protected].

    Thanks!

Any restrictions on type of cars instructors are allowed to run?

No formula cars, and cars which are not Ferraris can be driven by instructors--but only in the instructor run group.

I did the FCA Nov 2021 Sebring event as an instructor. It was a great day, fun easy event. Do it if you can!
