Redneck is indeed correct. My 99 360 had hoses that looked identical to those post by the OP. Like redneck states these hose are disintegrating. The only permanent fix is to replace the hoses.
Thank you! I looked around the front of the car and couldn’t pin down where the “oil” was coming from. Just that greasy brownish fluid that definitely does not have a fuel smell. Well I’m relieved. I have to get around to replacing the fuel pumps for good measure and will replace the fuel lines also. Maybe the new set will last another 25 years or 32k before they begin to disintegrate again.
