As a traditional Ferraritsti, I find myself at a crossroads. An identity crisis, if you will.

I can’t believe I’m saying this. I would actually trade the glorious Ferrari flat-plane 849 TR engine music for the All Electric platform

Why ? Why? Why? One may ask.

The huge increase in usable luggage space!
When the engineer fit the ICE engine, the turbos and their inter coolers, then the batteries —one for the starter and one for the powertrain, then 3 electric motors, their wiring and cooling system—there is no space for anything else but the passenger screen!

Don’t get me started on the true usefulness of that option.

So I’d be willing to swap. To trade. To compromise.
This must be wisdom since it certainly doesn’t feel
    Maschilismo.

My dealer said that the new all electric platform will debut in the 4 door FUV

So the 849 will remain V8 turbo hybrid with 3 electric motors.

I will be getting this car if Ferrari still thinks I'm worthy.

So yeah I need to fall in line .

    The overlords are watching.

In a 849 there is not space for the batteries, that in the electric Ferrari go under the floor. Go and buy a 296, there is more luggage space.

Now that you´ve got your answer we can discuss if you should be killed by firing squad at dawn.

I think we should give him a couple of days to reconsider. Sounds like he might be coming back around but it could be a feint. Watching more closely now.

Luggage space is also my #1 concern when purchasing an exotic.

    Im a weirdo
I don’t mind driving the car and using like a car. Stop off at the store in the way home and buying groceries. Packing a bad for an overnight trip.

But I understand that many people don’t want to drive their cars

That’s not my profile. Check out TOFM issue 42
