I would imagine the majority of owners here are just like u. I am. Lucky enough to own 1 or a few nice cars, but money is still a thing. We plan long and hard to get our cars, and when we get our dream cars, hang on to them. That’s why this forum/community is so great, lots of like minded enthusiasts. If everyone here was jockeying to buy the next newest/greatest every year for status or attention, it would be a lot less interesting.

True, though almost everyone I know with an F40, 288 GTO or 275 GTB also has some new cars (two exceptions).

(There are only about 2,000 examples of those three models, so of course none of the above are featured in most multiple-Ferrari garages. But point still taken.)

Anyway, my point wasn't that folks with multiple Ferraris don't have classics in their collections - obviously many do. I was reacting to the statement that most owners with multiple Ferraris don't buy new models. Or perhaps it was that buyers of new models are unlikely to have more than one. Either way, I'm skeptical - I'd guess the 40% number is about right.

    Lol. :p

    Imagine currently owning 32 Ferraris including a 2000 V10 F1, an FXX and a one-off SP yet not being offered a 499P M.

    Makes you kinda give up.

Pretty sure most of us can’t imagine the first half of that statement, much less the second half….

Post IPO Ferrari for ya. I guess I won’t complain about not getting offered the 488 GT Modificata…

Seems there is still some old Ferrari remaining after all the change of hands and going public. Bittersweet, but does dampen my own quest if the above happens more frequently than we may know (ie still a political game of who is who). Almost to the point of brand ambassadors for the short run of a new vehicle, before the replacement comes.

I'm only commenting in hopes that Ferrari regularly views F-chat and uses total comments in their ranking algorithm. With only 5 Ferrari's (and more coming...including SF90 XX), I stand zero chance to qualify for an F250. Thus, I figure a few hundred comments a day here, creation of an OnlyFans page depicting me in a stuffed Speedo seducing my cars and then getting fully tatted in scuderia shields, is probably my only hope. Although, a similar approach with Patek didn't help and resulted in hundreds of hours of painful laser skin treatment, along with thousands spent on therapy to restore flagging self worth and bedroom performance issues.

Just reduced to 3 F cars from 4. Most I owned is 5 at one time. Always had 2 or more.

This is so spot on! Not only do they not boast about their collections, the fellow I know takes it a step further by refusing to talk about his collection.

I currently own a 458 Spider and a California T. Would love to scoop up a gated 360 or 430 spider. Only time will tell.

I disagree with your number. I suspect there are more multiple car owners as a percentage than you're figuring, and that the number of super-collectors (3 or more at one time) is high enough to skew the numbers even more.

I made a new friend recently, when he saw my Ferrari in my garage he went out and bought four! A 308, two 456s and a nice Mondial coupe.
I think the Ferrari bug bit him bad!

Nothing Good said 34,000 Ferraris in the US. According to AI there’s 37,400 in the US. Great guess !
