    It was around $18K. Expensive, but the car feels complete to me now. As silly as it may sound to some, having the leather wheel bothered me. I tried to get used to it but decided it was worth it to just have it replaced. Also … should make the car a little easier to move when my GTS arrives.

    Ouch, I expected $6-7k based on the talk when they said the wheel with buttons was available.

    I think the steering wheel with buttons will be replacing just the wheel center, and not the entire wheel - thus the (expected) lower price.

    Ah. Makes sense I guess if it's just the center plate for the surface then (I mean, that's still a lot of money but relative to $17-18k sounds like a deal).

    My friend had a GTS with racing seats that hurt his back, he wanted to change to comfort seats and was told nearly $50k... he took a smaller loss selling it instead. I was shocked at those quotes too...
