Anyone on here have a chance to drive one of these. Pretty good deals on these, reviews have been mostly positive with criticisms mostly on the price (solved with models nearly $90k off sticker), small trunks, and small gas tank.

I am considering selling my 2017 488 Spider.

Before you buy know this. A dear friend locally bought a brand new Cielo 2023 leftover as in brand new never driven or titled. Also he was able to choose from about 8-10 cars.
The MSRP was 318k and was purchased just under 200k.

Other known criticisms include the inconsistent handling/suspension, the low rent interior, poor sound, and the doors really open wide (31"), which is wider than standard doors. As a comparison, the McLaren 720S open door width is 16".

Good value if one can live with the faults.

It's a car that looks infinitely better than it drives.

It's like dating that supermodel who flunked preschool twice and then had to get a waiver from her doctor to pass high school.

If the electronics/infotainment and Sonus Faber sound system....which is utterly horrible and muddy sounding.... is anything like my wife's new GranTurismo..... walk away! She already had the entire center dash replaced, analog clock replaced 2 weeks into owning it. Can't wait for it to go away in 1yr!!!!

Maserati is in trouble. Their parent company Stellantis has made some negative comments about what they might do with the brand. I heard, so it’s hearsay, a number of dealers have dropped the franchise.

It's too bad, it's such a storied marque and the MC series are awesome... can't build a brand leasing re-skinned 300C and Grand Cherokees though. Never had that killer product in the $50-90k range. I said at the time they should have ditched the 300C and worked a deal with Alfa to use the Giulia QV as a base, with a Maserati body.

Drove a Ghibli a couple of times and ugh it was mediocre, especially for the price. Dogcrap engine response and transmission that was not sporty feeling at all. Never tried my friend's Nero series with the 500hp though. But it wasn't even in the same class of performance as my Giulia, which I still miss and get me wistful.

Yes, I’ve read similar things. Honestly, if there’s one brand that’s sitting out there that’s facing the chopping block more than any other, this is the one.

    Add Aston to the list.

The MC Cielo is stunning to look at. Very anemic sports car as a driver. But, so is a 911 TT and the MC is much better looking. Just have to reframe the use case and the MC can make sense to some people.

This one is pretty sweet. Brand new 2023 at 100,000 off sticker. The livery on this one certainly meets the car’s personality.

When the Alpha Romeo 4C first came out. I purchased a launch edition one without even driving it and had it shipped to my house. By all rational standards it was a completely silly car typically losing to any competition that was put up against. But, with a whistling turbo right behind the driver’s ear, and suspension so stiff it would shake your feelings out, I had a huge smile on my face. I basically called it a go-kart for grown-ups. it had me giggling every time I drove it. The MC 20 looks like a grown-up version of the 4C.
