Doesnt really seem to have any more drama or noise than a launch in my 812 GTS. I was hoping for a bit more interior sound honestly.

The show car that was on display was painted. However, someone confirmed to me that you can get the painted "grey area" in full exposed carbon according to the PDF from Ferrari. I am getting the PDF from my dealer tomorrow and hopefully can share whether it is just painted or exposed carbon. I really hope it's exposed!

Aside from the gear shift, sounds like a GTB during launch control. Which is certainly no bad thing.

Depends on the recording equipment and compression that the file goes through....I've heard some clips that sound maybe 20-25% more dramatic, but only so much they can do. Even the challenge cars don't sound too loud.

I am told it is over $1million a year to race in the series without including the cost of accidents (which will happen).

Did my design today through Atelier, very fun experience, the only negative was the time was way too short, guess that’s how they get you to go back…and back and back again ;)

Saw the launch spec and thought it was amazing, but now after today, I can say with certain I like mine even more!

anyone who has experience with speccing the car, can I change the bottom part of the side mirror to match the color of the body paint? I forgot to ask for that during the session with them today….

very unique stripe design! the lighter color looks fantastic. can't decide whether to go dark or light, they both look great.

Nothing feels like spending an hour trying to figure out the right white

I saw some very interesting color today, such as this one white with green hue to it under reflection. But in the end thought it’d be hard to pair on this car, so didn’t go with it.

Very cool, looks like Onda Marina with green instead of blue.

A pearlescent white with a bit of warm tone to it, and very fine grains of flake in there, not sure if that’s common in pearlescent paints

Very nice. Seems to be a popular stripe configuration with the Atelier/TM configurations.

agree. It’s fun but time is short and process feels rushed especially around color selection.

Honestly...this is the exact stripe that I like the most. If you feel comfortable sharing, what was the livery cost?

I ended up spending so much on paint that I went with the standard livery at $16K vs $28K for a different livery. But I can see some combinations going up towards a $100K.

And the overall spec looks great!!!

I should know soon enough, they haven’t generate the build sheet for me yet, but I suspect it won’t be cheap…the paint, the livery, and a bunch of carbon too…

Also, not sure if this was ever discussed here, but anyone think the engine cover is better in glass or CF? Seems like the most weight saving component out of everything that can be replaced with carbon. But from an aesthetic standpoint, won’t be able to see the engine from the outside anymore

Can't see the engine, but it's so cool in CF. :) On the Aperta, it's a no cost option, although a much smaller piece. You also get the triple vent motif, and you can't see the engine very well in the Aperta anyway. Is the glass the darker shade? Or lighter lexan like you could get on the GTB, and see the engine more clearly.

I know it’s been asked I just can’t seem to find it using the search bar

What carbon is included for interior/exterior?

Sounded like it’s dark tinted glass, I remember asking if I can get clear glass and they said no.

I really do not like the wheels. I love the look of the GTB/S diamond cut forged wheels. The Speciale wheels are terrible.
