Fort Myers Fishing

We are meeting family in Fort Myers over Thanksgiving. We do it every couple years and my oldest son isn’t much of a beach person and gets annoyed with his much younger cousins so I was going do a fishing charter with him. We would do an inshore four hour charter.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I ask because it looks like there are a lot of companies doing charters. Most of the reviews are great so I sure any of them will be fine, but I thought I would ask here first.

I say make a little drive south and fish out of 10,000 islands/chokoloskee. Several guides leave out of everglades city and goodland which is closer to ft. meyers. I only flyfish so can't recommend any guides for other kinds of fishing. Contact a fantastic flyfishing guide ken chambers and he might refer you to someone who does conventional tackle or he might do conventional too. Ken is awesome!

Geez. I was going to recommend the guys we've used for years, just a little north of Fort Myers, but now all they do is sunset tours of Charlotte Harbor.

I'll ask a couple buddies, see who they're using now and try to post right back.
