maybe, go for a first gen NSX it's still there at $90k and once market goes up for these things it's never coming back and after all it's one of those cars gordan murray himself praised a lot so we all know it's gonna be wonderful to drive
Thanks! It is my daily and like I said I'm loving it. So much so that I'm wondering if I need another 6-speed (my F430), which is how I found this thread... But I do realize they are different cars for different purposes. My mind still wanders though. It's there, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't. But it's not that noticeable unless you are going more than half throttle. If you are in Sport mode the mapping is more responsive and frankly I don't realize it. I had an M8 before as a daily, and there I'd have to try to not feel the lag whereas here I have to try to feel it. If that makes sense.
Totally agreed nonetheless both are supremely cool car especially the F430 in blu TDF with a gated manual that's like my dream spec actually!!
It's Mirabeau actually, which is quite close to TDF but a shade brighter/lighter. I get nothing but compliments on it, especially with the interior. Whoever spec'd this originally did a great job. If I decide to sell it I can let you know! Converted.
Yeh, I think modern turbo cars need the DCT because you don't back off. Manual turbo cars you back off the throttle to change gears, turbo slows, lag. More throttle, the worse it gets.
