458 Loud Noise when Slowing to Stop

Yes I downloaded it to be honest the way it happened in your car and the sound is quite similar overall to my car except mine is more clanging and mechanical yours was a bit more whistling.... How much did your repair cost when you did it in the Bay area and when did you do it? It's so hard to describe I should take my own video and upload it )

All four catalytic brackets are cracked..... Kind of makes sense that it only happens on a downshift when the car is cold and it sounds metallic like foil from outside of the car.

I got a video of mine and tried to post a new thread unsuccessfully.

Only when downshifting gear 2.

All fluids changed.... Overall better but still occurring.

 

Mine is like Arash989 not like the OP

just a short burst of noise could still be resonance from a fluid pump or also kind of sounds like when you miss a shift in a normal synchromesh gearbox. Except of course, this is not during a gear change. This is when simply engine braking in second or third gear when you let off the throttle. Doesn’t really matter what the speed is or the mode, it is very repeatable. The car still feels smooth, not abnormal other than the sound.
