Any one ever had to top up the F1 gearbox fluid? I had the dashboard light coming up a few times and booked the car for a check ..

There is a nice thread on another forum pistonhead where a guy travels extensively with his 599 and is having a few issue on f1 fluid level. If I remember correctly it was some banjo nuts that needed tightening there are a few on the f1 module at the rear of the box. But in essence if the level indicator pops up means you are loosing fluid somewhere. Good luck

The fluid should be changed every three years along with leak check, bleeding, and self-test. PIS optimization is also a good idea. It is hydraulic fluid and subject to many of the issues brake fluid has. Took Ferrari a while to figure that out.
