    I have the same issue with a 911, find them totally underwhelming to drive, not compared to my F430, back then i had a E92 M3, which i found (and still do) much more exciting to drive than a 911....

    Engine ate a valve, or two, or three.... Don't have the final diagnosis yet but prior to this was driving beautifully. Heartbreak.

    The belt def slipped off (you can see that from the engine bay)... Problem is this motor was just "rebuilt" from the dealer with "new belts" August 2024. So I'm thinking a tensioner or a variator. It had been running so nicely.

    The sound was horrific, so I'm bracing myself for what it's going to take to rebuild.

    ugh. That's horrible. Hopefully the dealer takes care of some (or all) of it on good will even if it's past the warranty period.
