Drove my 488 today... first time in over a year...

Was a little nervous taking it out but we made it.

Why so long?

 

I've had to keep the miles low because it's a 70th anniversary car. Right now I'm at 3,457 miles or so which is just about right. Car was scheduled to be auctioned by Sotheby's in August during Monterey car week but I had to back out in May for several reasons. I've started it here and there and warmed it up and of course its been tendered. Just wanted to take it out for a short drive and get all the fluids ran through it on a proper warm up. It goes in for service this month then I'm going to sell it. Not sure yet where as I have several choices. Here is a link to a collage of some photos of the car.

I get so confounded on why we don’t all just enjoy these marvelous cars? If it’s about ROI these are all BAD decisions. Drive it, enjoy the experience and focus on other means for ROI investments. The best “ investment” is in your joy of life!
