    Right?

At this rate, I can buy two 296s, and have spare change left over for a Roma.

I have a 2019 Pista with 4500 miles with MSRP of $517,000. I’m going through insurance negotiation now and they don’t agree with my agreed value of $700,000. Just ridiculous I’m sure the car will fetch much more than msrp in the market.

No, your’s in particular is worth much less despite how awesome the spec is. It should only continue to drop and likely, dramatically. As you know, I am willing to take it off your hands. :)

The Pista game has been such a wild ride these last few months. This thread has documented that ride fairly well. I fully agree with ACSATCO that the Pista is finally getting its due. Easily the best looking modern Ferrari and the perf is stellar. It will plateau soon. I’m thinking 850 for coupes is the new average. Can’t see it going up to much more anytime soon but that would be nice.

The 488 Pista has now become a true collector's car, especially those with less than 3,000 miles and one owner.

higher mileage cars are fine and there's a huge auidence for them as some actually buy to drive - if the decision to keep low mileage as a collectors investment has already been made for them by someone else then you can just keep driving!

They’ll be basically the same price in the next 6-12 months. Your pista numbers are skewed by a handful of very high mileage models(25k+) that are on the market plus one model on the pre owned site that was totaled and is being offered at like 500k. Not indicative of what these cars are actually trading for which is closer to 750-800.

Why did quantity of Pistas for sale more than double since August? Owners trying to "cash out" at higher prices?

Yes. Same thing happened with the speciale. There are 8 apertas available on the pre own site. There were 0 last year. But overall there are actually way less Pistas and specials available overall on the official site than there have been historically.

So once some of these "excess" Pistas work thru pipeline and get sold, Pista prices should buoy to parity w/Speciale.

I think all VS cars have gone nuts. I believe the 430 Scud and CS are going to get close to the pista/Speciale as well. Matter of time. They’re on their way.

Just saw a 15k mile CS today listed for 750k... but again, these are asking prices and I think seller is out of his mind.... who knows

yeah I saw that one as well. Seems like an outlier but I do believe they will get to that price point.

I think cs will end up highest of them all tbh, it's the car that's the most different from modern ferraris

The 360 CS cannot be compared to the 488 Pista. The big difference is that the Pista offers everything from performance to excitement. Some customers say that they find the acceleration of the 458 Speciale too boring. A 488 Pista has an incredible amount of power. Ultimately, however, the 458 Speciale is the last naturally aspirated V8 and the Pista is the last V8 turbo without hybrid.
430 and 360 were not the last NA V8s.

the comparison is because they are track focused road legal Ferrari's and imo could end up the most valuable
acceleration doesn't typically come into values as some extremely expensive classics are very slow compared to modern cars

I think then “regular” F430 might trump all of these cars at the end of the day as the last MT NA V8 mid engine Ferrari.
