Purosangue arrive...Hagerty won't insure it?

I think what you all have come across is the fact that the so called experts at Haggerty thought the Lusso was an exotic car because it was a Ferrari- but they see the SUV form factor of Purosangue and they put it into the same bucket as any other SUV. Makes you wonder how much thinking goes on at insurance company underwriting. If only they had the same zeal as their billing departments!

 

Reviving this to add an interesting factoid. Everything I have is insured with Farmers. They refuse the 12C because they are now limiting the cars they insure to under a certain HP rating and it exceeds it. Only on new cars. So, they are not cancelling the 812SF (yet) and they accepted the 296GTS. Now I am newly insured with Haggerty for one car.
