296 GTS top control with key fob

Hello to all, I'm finally back into a 2024 296 GTS after a 8 years hiatus from 2007 F430 coupe. My first mod for car was the top control. I installed a smart top module where it allows you to close/open the top from your key fob without having to be inside with car on and holding the button down. It was a very straight DIY 5 mins install. Here is the link if interested:

I literally thought about this last week but never got around to check. I installed this module on my SL500 years ago and it added so much fun to the owner ship experience!

 

Seems like something they factory should have done

 

I thought so too but was disappointed. I did this to my 600LT Spyder also, McLaren made it happened in their 720S Spyders.

 

What does it cost in the USA?

Unfortunately my 20' 720s didn't have the module for remote top dropping, so I didn't have that feature. Some 20's had it some didn't. There was no rhyme or reason behind it.
