lando drove better after the summer break and oscar tumbles, but still as said as long the car is way faster than anyone lando would win it this year lol

If Max was in that McLaren I don’t think anyone could ever come close to him. What he is doing with a mid car is insane. He is on an unworldly level.

Horrible race by Oscar. Usually its Norris who makes the mistakes.
Antonelli has a future in F1. FINALLY after so many years an Italian F1 driver with potential. The kid from Bologna is doing just fine.

 

Same here. I did F1TV for ~11 for the month.

In-car cams were cool, but sucked to be stuck at my computer instead of working on the cars while I watch.

 

Genuine question - what would he bring to Ferrari to turn things around that others haven't or couldn't? If I was him I'd go anywhere BUT Ferrari.

Still have the same dysfunction in how the team operates despite new regs and formula. I really can't see how a driver alone would make any difference. It's been tried numerous times over the last two decades. Hope to be proven wrong though and look forward to someone throwing my words back in my face.

Well, he will bring raw pace that is ever increasing. Hamilton's pace keeps falling.

We will save about 90m.

He can't turn it around on his own, but if he can show he is competitive with Charles, he will open up tons of options for his career.

Every driver wants to drive the red car at some point in their career...at least for now. I think we might be approaching the day when that is no longer true.

 

You're right - he won't on his own, but he could help be a part of the solution.

 

Next race: Las Vegas. I was on the track yesterday. Weather so far is amazing. Mid 80s day, mid 60's evening. Hopefully it will hold up because the first 2 years it was FREEZING.

Board and Management inertia will prevent this. I can see it in 2027 but not for next year. Bier-Man needs more experience as well. Leave him at Haas to gain knowledge of the new PU's and the techniques needed to manage them and the new aero.

 

If Verstappen didn't pit for the 3rd time, could he finish in 2nd?

Great job for Max and the kid. Probably the first good Italian driver in a LONG time.

And Oscar Disastri did once again everything to widen the gap in the WDC.

Could be worse: Could be the POS AM, which didn't help either driver. Strange, they were good in the Sprint and nowhere in the GP.
