Max needs to win every race but he at this point absolutely needs bad luck/significant errors for Norris to help him. The battle for Max vs Ferrari though is something that's still possible and definitely a good laugh if he does. I hope Max can win a few more races this season. Piastri is done for, what an incredible fall off. Hopefully Norris gets some much needed humility when he wins the title.
Technically both. He was wobbling all due to the car, but only because he caused the damage to the car: Zero idea of car placement in turn 1, squeezing whoever was on the inside to a car even further inside, then driving clean into the back of Colapinto on a f'in straight, causing significant damage to himself. A true disaster class fitting for the team he drives for.
Seeing Leclerc in his F2 days and the talent he had, then the move to Ferrari......funny how luck plays an integral part in an F1 drivers career. Norris didn't have half the talent that Leclerc had in F2 and now look....he's possibly going to get a WDC title before Leclerc.
Unless Norris has 2 dnf's (or as good as DNFs), he will win the title I'm sure. I can't see a sudden resurgence for Piastri any longer. Leclerc was so damn good in F2. If the 2026 Ferrari rumours are true then this whole idea of Leclerc winning a title this decade is simply gone, too. Surely he'll be out of patience then...and then he has a new problem: Max. If the RB is championship contending next year, Leclerc won't go there. If RB isn't, and Max continues to stay in F1....he'll be looking for another team. Suddenly Leclerc has to compete with Max for that seat, and that seat will be for a WDC contending team. That's a rather 1 way battle, as that team will offer whatever they can for Max.
lewis got his on the side on the start then on his own mistake ran into the back of a alpine and the wing even stuck below the car so even more damage well have to say both ferrari got unlucky today..just what it is
I see it as a racing incident as Charles has stated that Kimi was also at fault. Wide open gap and Kimi simply turned in on him. Kimi knew he was there along side and moved to block earlier. Sorry but that was not a 10 sec penatly at all. I blame Kimi for turning in and causing it. He is the reason Charles was damaged and out. Not Oscar. Piastri defends Turn 1 move in F1 Brazil GP: "I can't just disappear" Oscar Piastri suffered a 10s penalty after colliding with Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Charles Leclerc at Turn 1 during the Brazil GP Ed Hardy Andrei Gobbo Published: Nov 9, 2025, 9:08 PM Oscar Piastri has defended his unsuccessful manoeuvre during the Brazil Grand Prix as the McLaren Formula 1 driver claimed he ‘couldn’t disappear’. The Australian driver attempted to take second place at Interlagos with a move on the inside of Turn 1, but he locked up and knocked Andrea Kimi Antonelli into Charles Leclerc on lap six. It resulted in a 10-second penalty for Piastri, who eventually finished fifth, meaning he is now 24 points behind championship leader Lando Norris, who won from pole in Sao Paulo. “In my opinion, I had a very clear opportunity up the inside,” said Piastri. “Yes, there was a lock up, but I was firmly on the apex, on the white line. I couldn't go any further left, and I can't just disappear. “The decision is what it is. It was one of a number of difficult moments through today and this weekend, but I wouldn't have done anything differently if I had another chance.” Piastri added he is “already pretty at peace” with the decision, but he still disagrees with it as the Australian claimed “I was pretty firmly in control” throughout the sequence. So when asked if the stewards assumed he wasn’t because of the lock up, Piastri said: “I don't know. No matter what way you look at that, I'm not sure where I'm supposed to go, because when you have that good of a run into Turn 1 and you're fully alongside, you're not just going to back out. “I think to try and go in any deeper than I did would have been ambitious, and I was where I was. “So I think in that scenario, if I was clearly understeering and missing the apex, then it would give me... sure, I'd understand, but the fact that I was as far left as I could have gone makes it tough.” Although Antonelli survived the incident as the Mercedes rookie later finished second, Leclerc instantly retired after his front left tyre flew off due to suspension damage - yet the Ferrari driver doesn’t blame Piastri. “Oscar was optimistic,” said Leclerc. “But Kimi knew that Oscar was on the inside. He kind of did the corner like Oscar was never there and for me the blame is not all on Oscar.
What a great race! Except for us Ferrari fans. In that regard it was awful. I was thrilled to see Kimi hang on for 2nd!
That was a good watch, too bad on the puncture for max but really good drive. Kimi was very impressive as well, about time for him
Lando really needs to shut it lol. He has done his own crap talk about others….. Lando Norris said that the key to his F1 2025 title surge has been blocking out “everyone that talks crap” about him.

All respect to Red Bull, but this year the Ferrari has been especially ****ty. Max is good, but I doubt he could win more than one or two races in the turdmobile Ferrari produced this year. And Ferrari has pretty much just been on Leclerc's shoulders this year.
Uh, no, Max is done with the WDC after today. He's two full races back behind Norris now. The latter would have to drop out of two of the next three events, and Max win them for Max to even be alive at this point. It's between the two McLarens now - unless they take each other out - twice.
As usual Ferrari manage to disappoint on race day. The car is utter garbage. Of course this was entirely predictable when they decided to change front suspension philosophy from pushrod to pull rod. A totally different concept and one they had no experience with under the current regs. Totally stupid decision in the last year of the current regs. Let’s hope that the 2026 car is more successful but given how totally useless the current generation of designers are, that’s highly unlikely. Anyway, back to the race… masterful performance from Norris. Dreadful weekend for Piastri who once again showed that his head has gone and he is capitulating. Shame. 10 second penalty was justified - but only because he locked up. Max once again showed he is the best driver on the grid. What a magnificent performance. Also, pleased for Kimi who did really well today and is growing in confidence. Battle for second in the WDC is really tense. Obviously, it’s just between maxbull and merc. Ferrari are destined for 4th.
yes, his judgement on Kimi proving superb, and also his judgement on adios to lil' lewee, the most dangerous driver on the grid, completely embarrassing hyimself as well and besmirching his record with a miserable end.... and sighing with relief he's not in Ferrari's shoes.
