John, aka Jaki, knows nothing about anything.
Everything he tries to manage turns to sh+it, that's his real skill.
And this applies to each area of his empire: his soccer team, his newspapers, the car industry he inherited from his family.
He has amply demonstrated that he's not an entrepreneur, or a leader who knows how to choose his key collaborators.
The only thing he knows how to do is sell off his companies and enjoy the profits.

Funny how we were just talking about Ferrari's problems come right from the TOP. Here is a perfect example and just another reason why Ferrari is a huge embarrassment.

 

I´ve never been Elkan´s biggest critic. Although I dislike many of his choices, I have to admit that they make sense from a business point of view.

But this is stupid. Actually, I don´t know what he´s talking about, the drivers haven´t said anything.

 

Brazil was the sober-up from the WEC race/season.

I’d be willing to wager that Ferrari won’t learn a damn thing from this year.

I bet when the season ends they’ll just double down on their hype and act like nothing happened. People like Elkhan don’t learn as they’ve never really had to live in the real world their whole life.

Then all the deluded fans will spend the off season making excuses all while saying 2026 will be “our year”.

 

What a tool. Charles has been nothing but loyal, and I know what it’s like to get kicked in the teeth by a boss who takes the work for granted and doesn’t return the loyalty to his best people. I’d love to see Charles with Max to watch them push each other. Not sure about Red Bull’s 2026 car, but it couldn’t get much worse than the clown show Charles is enduring right now.

 

Elkann is a business man. He's selling his book. His book is portraying Ferrari as a lifestyle, and he's been tremendously successful doing so. Many of us here, I can presume, have benefitted from his stewardship of RACE.

I do not believe a ****ing word this guy says publicly is truly what he believes. Something to consider.

 

I do have to from a non-business perspective say, he sounds like an ******* from this.
