We have Ferraris in our rental portfolio and it isn’t too much of a hassle. Also SF uses them as ‘business’ cars for driver concierge.

You just never know. 911 R was a 300k car that somehow ended up a 500k car [and still is]

I do not understand the pricing on this car at all. I test drove a Puro Saturday. Had all the bells and whistles on it. Fun car. Did not drive like an SUV at all. Sounded better than most modern Ferraris. That said, not sure what the market is for this car. Seems like you'd get a Urus if you wanted a proper SUV with space and a 12c, 296, SF90, etc. if you wanted a sports car.

Honestly, there’s no comparison to the others; and I’m not just saying that as a Ferrari loyalist. It’s about something deeper.

    It's something unique. It's a proper 4 seater Ferrari.

If you want to evaluate it as a SUV, then it makes little sense.

Of course Ferrari will say it's not a SUV, but it really isn't. Its a real true Ferrari, in the old school, all about the engine sense..

It is expensive, but that comes along with being a Ferrari. I think its brilliant.

I used to write my 355 and viper off as business expense in LA as I was a filmmaker and appearance matter. I was even audited and it was fine.

    Really depends on your situation

True. Since I am neither of those, it would not work at all! :)

It’s a fair point but a key difference is that the Urus is a jazzed up Bentayga, which is a jazzed up Cayenne, Q8 etc etc. Some buyers want a special vehicle that doesn’t come in 31 flavors with various badges on it.

100% agreed. Reliability of those grouping of vehicles: A Usability: B+ Special / Unique: C

Urus is pretty unique. Very bold exterior and interior. Perhaps more cohesive than the Puro.
But the Audi and VW is very x5 and G class looking.

I like that Ferrari builds One Car / One Engine. There’s not some other version of it. There’s no S, or Turbo, or R, or lesser/more powered iteration. What you get is what you get. Unique company.

I just didn't see the value in it. Fun but not unique or memorable in any way. I've never driven the other high end SUVs so I can't opine on that.
