Obviously not the end of the world. But the end of Ferrari? Their days may be over, and the sport won't have enough years left for them to get back to the top...or even near it.

Fred definitely gives the vibe of calmness. And it does seem to show. There are still bad decisions being made, but prior to him, these bad decisions seemed to be frantic, made out of fear and confusion. Now they are just bad choices.
What I'm not sure about is, is Fred a winner? That I don't get from him. That he's got the killer instinct it takes to be #1. Maybe he was what the team needed to stabilize, but now they need someone new to get them back to winning. Possibly a #2 to that can take advantage of Fred's calmness while focusing the desire on doing what's needed to win.

I for one do not believe this comment was aimed at Charles but I do think it was aimed at Lewis who has had much to say all year but for obvious reasons he cannot be singled out because can you imagine the media storm that would happen. The irony was Elkhann was the one who reportedly advocated for Lewis at the expense of what appeared to be a very strong team bond with Charles and Carlos.

This is also rinse repeat from other era's of Ferrari's long history.

I suspect Fred doesn’t quite have the freedom to do all that he would like to change in the team.
Road car sales are still record numbers.

Isn't that the one that faked his own kidnapping in an attempt to fund his coke party with tranny hookers?

He’s the Buddha of the pit wall. The team needs a leader, not a Buddha. Frankly I didn’t understand why he was hired in the first place. He didn’t have an especially distinguished career in F1 and the team hasn’t improve one bit since he’s been there. As far as I can tell LeClerc has been the only one in the team who’s be contributing anything.

Typically people who make aspirational purchasing decisions like that don’t want to be associated with losers, especially at a price. Oh, sure, Sir and Ferrari are cool, but….oh, make that were cool.

After The Scuderia’s 2024 performance neither Elkann nor Elton thought 2025 would be the disaster it is. The fundamental flaw in 2025 car was a surprise to most.

I don’t disagree with that but I’m addressing Sir’s aura/halo effect in the future, which is the function he was hired to perform, according to some. Swag buyers aren’t concerned with underlying reasons, but when their hip friends roll their eyes when they see them in their hideously expensive Ferrari or LH44 gear….like a $2000 dog carrier…they start to look for the next icon of cool.
