    I was just watching a bit of the Ford Championship golf tourney on NBC & they just had a segment with a few PGA pros driving a Ford GT around a track. Anybody else catch it? Needless to say they should stick to playing golf for a living :) ...but the car is looking better and better to me every time I see it...oh, and hear it too :D

    I heard that at this event the winner will get the Ford Gt. That is the most expensive car ever given away at a golf tournament. (read somewhere, cannot recall source)

    I hope that Phil does not win the the golf because he'll kill himself trying to drive that Ford GT the winner gets. He just about did a 360 trying to get around Homewood.

    Since Ford is one of his sponsors, I'll bet he could go to the front of the line if he wanted a GT.

    I'm guessing he already has one for 2 reasons:

    1. Ford sponsors him
    2. He is in a commercial with Gretzky where he refers to the red GT as "Mine".
    (they would actually give him one so he could say that).

    Too bad there is no Ferrari sponsored golfer! :)

    Yeah, every time I see Tiger in a Buick I just *sigh*... the boy should have held out for something classy. BMW at least! Heck, even Cadillac.

    Watch some schlep who does not know how to drive stick will win the car! I also bet that yes Mickelson already has his name on the list for one of the 1st GT's to hit the streets! If he was smart he would also sign up for the new Shelby Cobra if it goes into production.

    The only PGA player I can think of who can handle the Ford GT is Stuart Appleby who is a car fanatic and has a SWEET BMW M5 he modded. He also races a M3. You see him frequently on www.m5board.com.
