I know The LM was first built by Pozzy for the IMSA champ and raced by Jabouille and Alesi ..

Then , how many more were built by Ferrari Spa ? I read 18 ?

The GTE if i remember , was first built over a road F40 by Michelotto and comissioned by Luciano Della Noce to race in the BPR champ in 94/95 ?
How many were built in total ? all by Michelotto ?

I was told an EVO II was also built ( only 4 cars ) and those were pushing 800hp in quali specs ??

I've been in both on the track (same owner :) ), they are intense cars, LM being a more "hefty" car, referred to as a truck compared to the GTE by the driver/owner. Having that much power inches from you head is pretty insane. The GTE has a sequentials while the LM has a normal H-pattern manual tranny.

Similar Aero, different spoilers, some restrictions/differentiations due to classes, but overall both very impressive cars.

Yea thats our boy benny :) This was like 2 events before he had a little fender bender. The cars are engineering masterpeices in my mind. But I would choose the GTE, LM seems like it requires WAY too much input, and is just a plain out beast...amnazed at how benny was even able to drive the LM!
