I have a 1986 328 GTS. I'm rebuilding my Fuel Distributor and putting it back on the car. I don't have clear pictures of how the Starter Assembly and Warm-up Regulator attach. Any help / pictures would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tom

If you call me I can tell you how to fix this. Not to sound arrogant but you will need my services before your car will run without catching fire anyway. My business is rebuilding fuel distributors, and it cant be done without the proper equipment. Also yours should be made of cast iron # 0 438 100 139 and these take special steps to seal against leaks.

    Hmmm...
I met Tom in Memphis, and helped him get setup for a wonderful Ferrari
    event a while back.
Not only is Tom an easy going, genuinely nice guy...
But I have also admired the wrench turning he has performed on his 328.
I think he will be just fine with this project.

..... Dave not sucking up to Tom in hopes of using his powder coating system.

Rebuilding fuel distributors is not that hard if you know how. It is like anything that someone learned to do, they had to spend lots of time and have the right tools. There are many good mechanics out there, but that does not mean they can rebuild a fuel distributor properly. Just like there are many Heart Surgeons that can't do a root canal.
